베이앙은 주변의 지인, 건축가, 예술가 동료들을 모델로 삼는다. 그는 모델의 실제 모습을 3차원으로 시각화하는 프로그램을 통해 스캔하고 폴리우레탄 같은 소재를 이용하여 자동화된 기계적 프로세스 안에서 확대하거나 재현한다. 비인격화된 제작물에 실존적 가치를 부여함으로써 감추어져 있는 존재의 궁극적 의미를 찾고자 하며, 이를 통해 인물이 가지는 신체적 존재감에 집중한다.
 
베이앙은 작품과 관객 간의 상호 작용을 중요시하며, 자신의 작품이 보는 이에게 어떻게 투영되는지에 주목한다. 그는 관객이 전시된 작품을 단순히 감상하는 데 그치지 않고 자신의 현존성을 느낄 수 있도록 전시 자체를 디자인하고자 한다. 그는 전 세계 다양한 기관과 공공장소에 작품을 설치하며 대중과 소통하고 공유하는 방식의 작품 활동을 이어 나가고 있다.

Since the late 1980s, Xavier Veilhan has been engaged in delivering various possibilities of representation through his wide range of works, spanning painting, sculpture, installation, photography and film. The artist incorporates various techniques and materials from his environment to generate a unique artistic language. He completes these works by experimenting with different techniques and materials, attempting to perfect an initial idea of shape and color through the actualisation of the work. Rather than conveying political or ideological messages, the artist puts more emphasis on the visual effect of his artworks. In expressing his world through his oeuvre, he creates digital images, sculpture, films, and exhibitions as a means of communication. It is the artist’s belief that understanding the intricacy of the world and recognizing possible delineations within continuation are the purpose of his work as well as the broader meaning of art.
 
Veilhan’s work frequently features people around him including architects and artists. He scans his models, transforming them into three-dimensional visual products, then magnifies or represents them using an automated mechanical process with materials such as polyurethane. Through this process, the artist aims to discover the veiled existence of underlying implications by projecting existential values onto a depersonalized product. Here, he also focuses on the corporeal existence that a figure possesses.
 
The artist puts emphasis on the fact that artworks interact spiritually with the audience and hence takes note on how viewers perceive his works. He tries to organize his exhibitions in a way that the audience can reflect upon their own existence rather than merely appreciate a piece of work. In order to share and communicate with the wider public, he continues to present his works in prominent art institutions as well as public spaces around the world.
